My JournalI retired from the Crawford County Sheriff's Department at end of December 2004. Prior to my retirement several local attorney's suggested that I go into private investigation and civil process service. In January 2005 I open my business, in a short time I found out that other retired law enforcement officers had done the same thing. What separated me from the others were my experience, drive and determination. I was fortunate to have obtained both a Senior Law Enforcement Certification and B/S in Criminal Justice. During my last five years at the sheriff's department, I had been the civil division supervisor and law enforcement instructor. I have taught law enforcement classes including civil process statewide. Shortly after starting my business I was offered the Chief of Police position for the nearby town of Dyer Arkansas. Then for six years I did both jobs Police Chief and Private Investigator/Process Server. Being a private investigator is not really compatible with actively serving in law enforcement. However I was able to do both and at the same time grow my business. Then on January 15 2011, I made the decision to retire. Looking back that was the best decision I have ever made. We now have one of the larger private process services in Arkansas, covering five counties with three agents. Over the years, I have been called upon to testify in court as an expert witness in the fields of law enforcement, civil process and aviation. I am also a multi-engine, instrument rated, commercial pilot with well over 4000 hours of pilot-in-command time. I'm ready to put my 35 years of experience to work for you!
